The Women's Caucus for Art, Philadelphia Chapter
As an official chapter of the National Women’s Caucus for Art, we support and uphold their mission statement and by laws. In addition, our chapter is committed to creating a support network for women in the visual arts in Philadelphia and surrounding communities. We strive to increase awareness and recognition of women in the visual arts through our exhibitions, lectures, publications and other educational programming.

As an official chapter of the National Women’s Caucus for Art (www.nationalwca.com), the members of the WCA-Philly are part of a nationwide network of women artists. Philadelphia members are invited to participate in exhibitions and other opportunities offered by chapters in the other 26 cities that are part of the National WCA.

Our meetings are free and open to the public. They are held the second Wednesday of every month, 6:30 pm. Our meeting locations vary, please refer to out Announcements page for details. The Philadelphia Chapter is the oldest chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art.

We are committed to:
education about the contributions of women.
opportunities for the exhibition of women's work.
publication of women's writing about art.
inclusion of women in the history of art.
professional equity for all.
respect for all individuals without discrimination.
support for legislation relevant to our goals.
